Completed regeneration projects

  1. Northampton Town Centre Redevelopment: The town centre has seen extensive redevelopment, including the renovation of the historic Market Square, the introduction of new retail and dining options, and improved public spaces to enhance the visitor experience.
  2. Waterside Campus: The University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus is a state-of-the-art facility that has revitalised a former brownfield site. This campus not only provides modern educational facilities but also includes student accommodation, green spaces, and community amenities.
  3. Northampton Railway Station: The redevelopment of Northampton Railway Station has improved connectivity and accessibility, featuring modern facilities and enhanced services for commuters and travelers.
  4. Vulcan Works: This state-of-the-art stylish collaborative workspace offers a vibrant atmosphere with an enthusiastic co-working environment for individuals and companies working in the creative industries.

Upcoming regeneration projects

  1. Daventry Vision: This aims to make Daventry town centre a vibrant and attractive destination that meets the needs of its residents and visitors, while also promoting economic growth and sustainability.
  2. Market Walk/STACK: Market Walk is set to undergo a vast transformation as renowned food hall and leisure developer, STACK, in collaboration with West Northants Council, will revitalise the prominent space.
  3. Marefair Heritage Park: The new Heritage Park will provide much-needed amenity space in this area of the town. The park will celebrate the rich heritage of the area and help people to learn more about its historical significance.
