Lovag
“Opening Lovag in West Northants was an easy decision for us. As locals, we knew the area has such a strong community spirit but we’ve still been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received so far. It’s a fantastic location for a growing business, and we’re excited to continue building something that local people can enjoy for years to come.”
About Lovag:
Lovag is an innovative, fun, and welcoming indoor golf simulator venue based in Northampton. Whether you’re a serious golfer looking to improve your game, a complete beginner wanting to give golf a try, or simply looking for something different to do with friends, family or colleagues, Lovag offers a space where everyone can enjoy the game.
Their state-of-the-art simulator technology allows players to experience some of the world’s most famous courses, take part in fun challenges, or just enjoy a relaxed social experience.
Why West Northants:
The team at Lovag feel that West Northants has been the ideal place to launch Lovag. As locals, they knew of the existing strengths when it comes to sense of community, a strong sporting culture, and existing customer base. Northampton’s central location also makes it easily accessible for visitors from surrounding towns and villages. The team feel incredibly grateful for the support provided to them from local residents, businesses and organisations since opening.
Ongoing Growth:
What started as an idea to create a space that makes golf more accessible for the local community quickly grew into a popular destination for golfers and non-golfers alike.
The team have been delighted by the number of people who have visited, shared their experiences online, recommended to friends, and helped spread the word.
This growth reflects what’s happening in golf more broadly. Recent figures from England Golf show participation continues to rise, with almost 20,000 new club members joining in 2025 and junior membership growing significantly. It’s clear that more people than ever are engaging with golf and looking for new ways to enjoy the game.
Lovag have seen this first-hand, with people of all ages and abilities coming through their doors to play, practise and socialise.
The team plans to grow their events calendar, work more closely with local businesses, run competitions and leagues, open their upstairs area for darts, and create even more opportunities for people to enjoy the venue.
Lovag aims to become a place that people think of not just for golf, but for socialising, celebrations, corporate events and trying something new.
