Local Charity’s Raffle of Joy Returns to Support 2,000 Hospital Patients This Christmas

With around 2,000 patients expected to spend Christmas Day in hospitals across Northamptonshire, Northamptonshire Health Charity is once again stepping in to spread festive cheer through its Elf Service, delivering gift boxes to patients and supporting NHS staff with festive goodies.

To support this heartwarming initiative, the Charity has launched its annual Raffle of Joy, giving the public a chance to win fantastic prizes while helping spread kindness to those spending Christmas in hospital.

This year’s raffle, sponsored by Northampton IT company EquiTech and Kettering based travel company RCI Europe, promises to be the most exciting to date all while raising funds.

Prizes include a £2,500 cash first prize, £1,000 cash second prize, and a seven-night self-catering holiday plus £250 cash as third prize. Five runner-up winners will each receive £50 gift vouchers.

EquiTech has generously contributed to the top two prizes, and RCI the third prize, helping make this year’s draw the biggest prize pool yet.

Beverly, who won last year’s first prize, said: “I was excited, speechless and in disbelief. Winning the first prize just before Christmas was extra special and a wonderful start to the New Year. Taking part also felt meaningful because it supports a great cause. I would encourage everyone to take part this year.”

Adrian Richings, Business Development Director at EquiTech, said: “At EquiTech, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. Supporting Northamptonshire Health Charity’s Christmas campaign aligns perfectly with our values. We’re proud to play a part in spreading festive cheer and supporting the incredible work of our local NHS teams.”
