HORIBA UK is proud to announce that it has won the Gold Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category at the prestigious SME National Business Awards, held on Friday 7th November at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, London. 

Standing out among four other finalists, HORIBA UK was recognised for its outstanding commitment to community engagement, education, and social impact.

The award celebrates HORIBA UK’s extensive employee-driven CSR initiatives, which deliver meaningful impact locally, regionally, and nationally. From volunteering and charitable giving to STEM education and digital inclusion, HORIBA UK continues to champion causes that matter most to its employees and communities.

Helping local communities and supporting causes that matter are at the heart of HORIBA UK’s CSR strategy. In the past year, the company has contributed through:

• Volunteering: Employees dedicate a day each year to support their chosen charity, alongside community activities such as litter picks
• Charitable Giving: Corporate sponsorships, Charities of the Year, and matched giving schemes
• STEM Outreach: Participation and sponsorship of events, career talks, school visits, and hands-on activities to inspire the next generation
• HORIBA Foundation UK: A philanthropic initiative providing scholarships, grants, and mentoring to broaden participation in STEM higher education for underrepresented students
• Community Support: Donations of IT equipment to bridge the digital divide and food and clothing banks

Charities supported include: The Lewis Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society, Macmillan Cancer Support, Pawprints, The Northampton Hope Centre, KidsOut, Westside Young Leaders Academy, RedKite Academy, Animals in Need Northampton, and many more.
