Expansion at Silverstone Park for AI recruitment specialist Edge Tech

Specialist AI recruitment firm Edge Tech has expanded its workforce inside its office at Silverstone Park. The business has carved a niche in finding skilled AI experts for organisations in the UK, Europe and the USA.

After a strong 2024, founders Harrison Goode and Oliver Sulley have been able to employ four more staff to take their number to seven.

AI is the talk of the town globally and, as it evolves, we take care to follow the trends. Ollie and I founded the business focusing on digital transformation which, over time, has evolved to become process automation and now ‘hardcore AI’. Where there’s a new technology, and recently those have been generative AI or ‘agentic’ AI, people with the right skills can be difficult to find but we’re able to achieve that. We listen to what organisations are looking for in terms of AI skills, really understand it and are able to find them the right people almost always within their market. It gives us a distinct advantage over those who don’t specialise in the AI space.”

Edge Tech supports different organisations in hiring AI talent.

These can be large enterprises such as Virgin Media O2, VW and Aldermore Bank to AI consultancies, vendors or product companies and early-stage/start-up businesses seeking to raise potentially millions of dollars in funding.

AI roles it helps to fill include technical, developers, business analysts, project managers, architects, sales, marketing and product.

We are finding that it’s a younger demographic who are becoming heavily involved in AI, although there are still people later in their career looking to pivot. Ollie and I are of the mindset that we want to grow something meaningful. We want to do this slow and steady and ensure our employees are trained the right way. In an ideal world, our business surpasses us and continues to do good work that we’ve trained everyone to do.”
