West Northants Light Industrial and Workspace Demand Study

West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) commissioned Avison Young to conduct a study assessing demand for light industrial and workspace units sized between 500 and 5,000 sq ft. This initiative supports the development of the Local Plan and aims to guide inward investment by investigating a potential market failure in supplying such units.

Focusing on Northampton, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley, and the Silverstone area, the study evaluates demand levels, optimal locations, pricing, and viability. Avison Young applied a comprehensive methodology combining national, regional, and local economic analysis with qualitative insights from consultations and site visits to provide recommendations for future workspace provision.
